Financing Your Flight Training
You and your Douglas Aviation
instructor will sit down and plan your entire course of instruction.
The flight time, ground school, exams and supplies will all be considered,
and you will be quoted a bottom line price. Your instructor will
ask you to sign a "Tach Sheet" following every lesson, confirming the charges
incurred, and Douglas Aviation does the rest. All you have to do
is pay your monthly bill. It's simple, it's easy, and it limits your
flight training expenses to your budget.
We will prepare a proposal to
Pilot Finance, Inc. and they will offer you terms based on your credit
history. If you accept those terms, we are in business.
AOPA
The Aircraft Owners and Pilots
Association either sponsors or offers multiple financing opportunities
ranging from scholarships
and grants for High School and College students to Loans and Grants available
to everybody.
The AOPA Flight
Training Funds account allows you the flexibility to structure your
training to fit your needs. Use the account to pay for a rating or certificate
program, or just to get the additional hours you need to feel safe and
comfortable in your aircraft. You can also use your account to pay for
aircraft rental, instructor fees, books and supplies. Or anything else
to make your training successful, the choice is yours, you control how
and where you use your account!
Other Sources
Douglas Aviation will generally
accept funding from any source; We do reserve the right to refuse
any source for any reason.
